Budgeting for a wedding reception would be a lot easier if we could ask questions on the reply card like they do at the doctor's office:

if yes, how many alcoholic beverages do you consume in a night, on average, when out (say, to a wedding perhaps?)

one/two/three to four/ too many to count

for those who have been there, how did you estimate your food and drink budgets (if you had an open bar and/or hors d'oeuvres)?
